Veteran's Aid & Attendance Pension Program

Veterans Aid and Assistance Pension Program Information Available from Centura Senior Living Communities

The senior living communities of Centura Health can help you find out more about the Veterans Aid and Assistance Pension to help qualified residents defray the costs of living in a retirement community. This program is available to veterans and/or their spouses.  The monthly pension amount changes each year.  To qualify, a veteran must have:

  • served 90 days of active duty in the military, with at least one day served during time of war 
  • less income each year than the cost of care provided
  • a medical reason why he/she cannot live independently and needs regular assistance and care

Your or your loved one may be eligible for the Veterans Aid and Assistance Pension. To find out more about this program, and see if you or your family member qualifies, please talk with a sales representative at your local Centura senior living community:
